About Fred Tausch and STEWARD:

Nashua resident Fred Tausch, a fiscal conservative and concerned taxpayer, is the founder of STEWARD of Prosperity – a grassroots organization dedicated to holding politicians from both parties accountable to the taxpayers.

Tausch originally formed STEWARD in 2009 to raise awareness of the problems with President Obama’s stimulus package. Now that the stimulus is law, Tausch and STEWARD continue to encourage members and the citizenry at large to engage their elected officials through grassroots and online activism.

Through the group’s Web site – stewardofprosperity.org – Fred Tausch and STEWARD provide a public information resource center for working families, policy makers and the media. STEWARD seeks to hold the politicians and all government spending programs accountable to three benchmarks: absolute transparency; prudent disbursement of taxpayer money, with no waste and no pork; and gearing government spending decisions toward promoting economic growth.
